Can anyone ID this part?

Hello, all. Today, a friend sold me a huge brass oogah type horn made by the Piel Company. In trying to research it, I found that some Stanley Steamers used a "Long Horn" on them, and I'd like to know if this would have been used on one of their cars. Other photos I saw of the Long Horns did not look brass as this one is.

I note that instead of an OOGAH sound, it makes more of a drone. A photo is posted here: [centralcal.com]

Any info would be appreciated.

This is the correct horn found on the 1912 through 1914 Stanley. Depending on the size of Stanley (10, 20, or 30 hp) determines whether it used the junior or the larger models of this horn.

Thank you so much for your help. I've always loved these cars, and it's great to own at least a small part of one. Big as this one is, I assume this is the larger horn for the bigger HP models
