1910 Model 70 U bolt cross tie

I'm ready to add the springs to the chassis, but need to make new cross ties. What was the material, thickness, and shape of the U bolt cross tie? Were they square on the ends? Thanks, Brad

Here is an image but not sure if it can be of any help.
I'm not sure if the year is correct for these images.

Giovanni

This is the best photo I have on file of an unrestored model 71. It uses the same U bolt parts as a model 70.

Thanks for your your help in determining the correctness for the U bolt plates.
