<HTML>For anyone interested in more info on pulse combustion, check out: www.pulse-jets.com. I have not had the time yet to check it out and see if they have over come the noise issue with modern techniques. Who knows maybe it has a future on the road.

<HTML>Peter,
If you want the definitive word on pulsed combustion, try to find a copy of the book: "Pulsating Combustion, The Collected Works of F. H. Reynst" Pergamon Press, 1961. Probably the only such book ever printed on the subject.

<HTML>Jim,

Thanx for the info on the book, seems to be a rare work though.

<HTML>If I may be permitted a shameless commercial plug, I have a clean master of Reynst: Pulsating Combustion, and sell photocopies, bound or unbound. See my catalog on UsedBookCentral or just email me off-list.
