Vern Wellburn, Stanley owner and long time friend of us all passed on at 92 years of age.
Sad news...
I regret to inform you that Vern passed away from cancer on friday May 11, 2011- he died at home, with family the way he wanted to
He was very uncomfortable for only the night he passed so it was time
Vern was ready and at peace with his passing
A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 on Saturday May 26th 2012 at the Travelodge Hotel and Convention Centre, 140 Trans Canada Highway in Duncan.
I apologize for having to send an e-mail but Vern had so many friends its difficult for us to contact them all
