Firestone rims

I was wondering if anyone knew of a source for 25" firestine rim parts? When I removed the tires and rims from my wheels on a 1918 735 Stanley I found that one of the rings that holds the rim to the wheel was missing, having been substituted with a different profile ring at sometime in the past. The ring I am looking for is triangular in cross section, 25" in diameter with a split with about a 1/2" gap. The nuts and clamps that go through the felloes bear on this ring to hold the rim to the wheel.
Thanks,
Eric

Call John McLaren 231-238-9080
He’s been in the rim business for years. He most likely will not have one but should know where to start looking.

Found the locking ring in West Linn Oregon. Jim Kahne, a retired wheel maker ended up with Harrah's collection of wheels and rims, first one we picked up from the stack of parts was the right one. If anyone else needs parts, give him a call 503 638 5275
