Some years back I was interested The doble and the Lamont articles some of you guys were running....
As I played with my turbinecharger jets/turboshaft and APU units,I ran across the newest turbo unit built by Garrett who is now Honeywell in the course of 5 name changes.
They had a turbo around 2012(? guessing) for 100CC to 500CC engine. in other words a 1hp powerwheel for the compressor wheel. So a steamer guy could built a water version of the Doble draft booster. A flow upwards of 10 gallons of water a minute with a auto junkyard water pump and a little machine shop ability. An most waterpumps will deliver 56psi differential press against the thermostat when it closes.(powerwheel works in 20-30 psi at max power on the wheel though it starts turns turning at about 7psi)
