The 2015 Bakersfield, CA Pre-War Swap Meet is this week end, Friday April 10th and Saturday April 12th at the Kern County Fairgrounds. SACA West, and SACA Northwest will be represented at space C 29. There will be steam car parts for sale at our stall, and also a place to rest your weary bones.

This year at Bakersfield, the steam car parts were a bit hard to find. There have been several years that there were as many as four vendors there selling primarily steam car parts. This year those vendors must have stayed home. It was good weather there, lots of sellers and many buyers there too. At least that is what I heard from Ron Schroeder. I stayed home from the April Bakersfield swap meet because I was already there in January to buy a car, and then we returned again this last week to attend a one and two cylinder car tour in Oakdale. I don't want to wear out the California highways all in one year.
