In today's information age, we can find many errors in the listings compiled in this early attempt at recording the Stanley models built. Using Stanley season catalogs and many other sources, a more correct listing can be compiled, but even from these sources, errors abound. Only from Fred Marriott's original boiler warranty records, the most accurate list of models and specifications can be gleaned.

It would appear that copying by hand and typewriter
the 5 and 3 have got interchanged,,,,
Unless there was a secret model F with a 5 inch bore
Same error on tire sizes,,,50x3,,
