1908, White automobile in Oregon

While reading some information about the illegal occupation of the the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, I came across these photos and instantly recognized the make of this car! It is being driven by William L. Finley, the driving force behind the creation of the refuge. He and Theodore Roosevelt must have shared both a love for wildlife and for steam cars! 2000 miles across the Oregon outback in 1908, must have been quite a trip.

That is just spectacular!

Maybe a steam calliope could be used to force the Radical Religious Seditionist Bundy led group from our Public Lands, which are supposedly protected.
