Happy Thanksgiving!!

The forum has been so quiet for so long--I want to
wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving!!
Even though we may be in a "war", and things on
the international front may not be too pleasing--we still have a
pretty good life most of the time.....so be sure to enjoy your
Thanksgiving--we really do have a lot to be thankful for.....

Thank you so much for your thanksgiving greeting and again congratulations for you fastest run at the SACA nationals, you must be in fine spirits! This forum has been strangely quiet for a while, think many of us are preoccupied with other things at this time. In New England all the old steamers have been drained and put away for the year, a slowing of steam energies and getting ready for perhaps another brutal winter. Am glad to tell you that Craig Standbridges S-10 steam pickup was running like a mountain goat and our work on the "forgotten Knowles" 16 cylinder double wobbler plate engine running with increased success. Possibly a new car next year with this 138CID engine running in it.

Glad to hear that things are still going strong back east!!
Keep us informed about the Knowles engine-it sounds very
interesting......and you're planning a new car built around it??
