steam Trabant

<HTML>'Trabant' is a no longer produced, small, east German, two cylinder two cycle automobile. not too sturdy but easy to work on (it says here). in Hungarian we lovingly call it the 'paper Jaguar'. anyway, my brother-in-law gave me one in running condition and i'm thinking of converting it to steam. so i have a couple questions at present and no doubt many more later.

when converted to steam, how does the bottom end get lubricated?

are Peter Barret's latest plans for bump valves (available through SACA storeroom i presume) the best to copy for this application? are there others?

thanks for any replies,

<HTML>Two Cylinder Autos.
My Two cents worth.
An engineer from Argentina who I worked with many years ago commented on my desire to own a Citroen Deux Cheveux. He said that in Argentina this funny little car was called "Le Fart". Because, it seems that the only people that could stand them were their owners!
