Stanley in Norway

<HTML>I wonder about the year a Stanley Steam Car we had in Norway was made?
The ch. number was 17598. The car had seats for 4-5 persons. The steam engine had 2 cylinders and 20 horsepover. The wheight was arround 1700kg. The wheels was 120mm. It is to possible to get a photo on a car like these? Your cincerely O.B. Gjevre. Norway.</HTML>

<HTML>Serial number 17598 means the car was the 598th car made in 1917. It was probably made in November or December.
If it is an open car with 4-5 seats, it is probably a model 728. That number should be on the chassis identification plate with the serial number.
There is almost certainly a picture of a similar car either on this "stanleysteamers" site or on the "steamautomobiles.com" site.</HTML>
