<HTML>Anyone know anything about the new gas or diesel combined cycle Volvo?
Maybe the first production steam car in years....at least half of one.</HTML>

<HTML>Is it like the 1917 Still engine? Double acting piston; Diesel on top, steam underneath. The water jacket was the boiler, ran at 325 psi. The Diesel exhaust ran through a feed water heater. Over all efficiencies better than 40% were achieved.</HTML>

<HTML>No. It's a term for combination of IC and electric engine. They probably call it so, because term "Hybrid engine" doesn't sounds good enough.</HTML>
