Stanley Modell 607 at Dougherty Museum, Boulder Colorado

<HTML>Does anyone have an email address for the Dougherty Museum? Can only find a phone number. I want to see if their Model 607 is in its original paintwork, or has been repainted.

I'm trying to confirm the orignal colour & striping for my Model 607, car no 7644.

So far, rubbing the 1950 paint off the hood reveals patches of what looks like black (not dark blue as per catalogue) with very fine gray striping. Have not started on the body yet.</HTML>

<HTML>The Stanley 607 at the Dougherty museum was repainted years ago. A nice car needing some attention. A very correct model 607 at that. The museum is open part time without any full time workers, and they may not have an email address. As I remember, their 607 is all black. It was F.O. Stanley's personal car and it was used at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park. When Bill Robert's had his 607 restored, he found that his was originally all black too.</HTML>
