Henschel steam By Warren Doble

Hi Guys,

I have been lurking and digging here for a while now, and I have some questions.

I have a website dedicated to Henschel, where Warren Doble has worked on trucks, busses and other steamdriven vehicles.

The 1965 by J.N. Walton is quite impossible to get here in Europe for a fair price, so any help on the subject is welcome. And the book that is mentioned by Jim Crank, what is the status on that??

I am pleased to tell there is even 1 survivor of the work he did at Henschel. It is not clear what type it exactly is.

I just looked it up in my Henschel 'bible' and I was wrong.
It was Warren that worked at Henschel...
thats wy I edited my post.

Greetings,

Hi Pieter

I have a 36 page A5 booklet entitled 'Steam Road Vehicles and Railcars in Germany' by JN Walton 1955.… Based on British Intelligence reports it describes steam vehicles and conversions amongst which is 11 pages of Henschel information. I can scan or photocopy and post to you.
The Walton's Doble book is still advertised at £27.50 by

I have a copy, quality is patchy with photocopy drawings glued in where the original quality is poor.
