Locomobile Advertising & Ephemera on Web Site

I've just finished updating the Locomobile page (now pages!) on my web site, www.stanleysteameronline.com. You may enjoy taking a look.

I had no idea that Locomobile advertised so heavily, and I am sure that my little collection is not close to complete.

There is also a new advertisement for the Porter Motor Company and a Prescott letter.

I'll try attacking the White Steamer material next week or so. White was also a very heavy advertiser.

Enjoy!

Best Wishes!

Don Hoke

Hi Don,, Perhaps the reason Locomobile was keen on advertising was that Walker of Barbour/Walker owned Cosmopolitan Magazine,,,There are good articles on motors and motoring in these early , often overlooked issues,,,I found a really good article in a 1895 issue a few years back in a bookshop, on a dusty shelf,, I love history in the first tense,,,Cheers Ben
