FOR SALE: 1920 Stanley 735 with Woods Body, No. 20065

Dear All:

If you missed out on the $90,000 Stanley, here is your chance! Serial No. 20065.

Go to www.stanleysteameronline.com, click on For Sale or Trade, click on Parts, and you'll see the most interesting Stanley you've ever seen!

Sometime during World War II, this car was salvaged from the scrap yard in Michigan. It was sold in the 1970s and has been under cover ever since.

Someone prior to World War II put a Woods electric car body on this car and installed a Bolsover boiler.

It is a wonderfully eclectic car (bad pun!) that could be restored with the Woods body to create a very unique car.

Email me privately if you are interested!

Best wishes!

I did notice some interesting characteristics on the car. The headlights are off a 740, 750 or a SV, (1922-1926). The 1920 would have acorn without the holiday
holding them before the condenser. The condenser is 735, and front of the body and begining of the cowl is Stanley. The speedometer is not a speedometer that Stanley would have used. The steam automatic does look like a Stanley one. The kidney gauge has also been adapted to suite the needs of the previous owner.
Above the serial number will be a model number and a letter such as:
735A indicateing a 5 passenger touring car. B would be 7 passenger
touring, C Coupe, D 5 or 7 passenger sedan, and E Roadster. Would be
interestig to find out the original body style.
It does apear to be a neat car that could be a real charm wth the correct
fenders and headlights and a Stanley dash.
