To the Steam Car Community:

Due to Art Hart's health, Don and Carolyn Hoke have purchased Vintage Steam Products, LLC. We are completely and totally committed to preserving Art's tradition of excellence in both products and service.

Eric Wagner is managing the Locomobile parts. Don Bourdon will handle the feed water heaters.

Last week, we moved the machinery, tooling, and remaining inventory from Ottsville, PA to Dallas, TX.

Don spent several days with Art going over the inventory, discussing details, and digitally recording some of Art's manufacturing methods. We will be using Art's methods and techniques and suppliers, so there will be no change in the products you have purchased from Art in the past.

Art had very little inventory left, due to a huge influx of sales last November and December, so we are buying new inventory at higher prices. For example, we expect to receive the castings for Tees next week from Utah.

We are opened for business and have five orders in hand, including the very first order from Brent Campbell. There is a new printed catalogue available on request.

We are looking at adding some items for condensing cars, specifically wheel pullers - I've looked for four years at Hershey and have yet to see one - and large flare nuts.

If you are interested in a condensing car wheel puller, please advise ASAP.

What other products would you like to have Vintage Steam Products carry to support the hobby?

We have kept Art's web site, www.vintagesteamproducts.com. You may email us at donhoke@tx.rr.com or don@vintagesteamproducts.com. The phone number is (972) 661-9672.

Yes, we'll be at the Estes Park, CO Steam Tour if you want things delivered there.

Thank you for keeping Art and Ro-z in your hearts and prayers.

Wanted: Parts for 1924 Stanley Model 750 and 1925 Stanley Model SV 252. We buy steam car parts and literature. Visit the virtual steam car museum at www.virtualsteamcarmuseum.org.
