Boiler Guidelines in U.S.A.

<HTML>There's been a lot of talk and steam re: boiler standards after the
Medina, OH explosion last summer. A couple of states and one
Canadian province have adopted measures than can only be
considered "draconian". Our hobby has been, by and large, relatively
accident free in the "boiler mishaps" area - sometimes more
from "dumb luck" than safe design and operation.

I and several others believe that the best way to dampen restrictive
government regulation is to be proactive and develop
some "guidelines" that we apply to ourselves as a hobby. To that end
I've created a Boiler Guidelines discussion forum at:
[pub44.ezboard.com]

Check it out and join. All you have to do is "Register An Account" at
ezboard (you can do it near the bottom of the page) and email
the "Contact Administrator". If you're opposed to the concept - well,
you don't have to participate.</HTML>
