Dear John,

The 2002 Virginia Steam Car Tour is history.  Approximately 47 cars attended the five day tour held in Charlottesville Virginia last week. Jim and Sue Keith and their daughter Sue Elverston did a great job of hosting us. Tours were from 55 -80 miles each day with the scenic Blueridge Mountains as a background. Attached are several photos of the tour. More photos will be available when I get them sorted and uploaded.

Also I wanted you to know that I announced next years tour at the Blowdown Banquet. My family will be hosting the East Coast Steam Car Tour next year in Rome, GA. on June 8th-13th, 2003.  Rome is approximately 75 miles northwest of Atlanta, GA. and we are planning five days of touring.  I have set up a dedicated website for the tour: http://www.steamingdownsouth.com  I plan to add additional content to the site including pictures from previous tours as we make tour preparations for next year. Please add a link for this tour page to your site.

Sincerely yours,

Alan Woolf
