Locomobile engine mounts

While I am at it...
This engine was mounted to the car (ca 1899-1900 Locomobile with a center tiller) using a threaded rod put horizontally through the back top of the engine frame. The rod extends beyond the engine on both sides and rests in the slots of two pieces of angle iron that are bolted to the body framework of the car. This is clearly not the original engine mounting system, but it does allow the engine to pivot on the mounts for chain adjustment. Does anyone have pictures or drawings of the original mounting system?
