<HTML>What ever happened to the Genie Power company of Oregon ? Did they ever produce any steam vehicles for sale to the public ? I have read about them in "The Automobile Solution: The Steam Car Comes of Age" and think they had information or an ad in Light Steam Power. I am just curious as to the fate of another player in the 60's & 70's steam revival and I am sure this is the place to ask

<HTML>Boy I sure screwed that one up. It should be the Geni Power Company of Portland. They had information in the october 1971 issue of "The Steam Automobile" on page 7 and this was used in the book "The Car Solution: The Steam Engine Comes Of Age". It was a "steam-propelled sports vehicle" capable of 0-60 MPH in 16 seconds, running from a cold start in 95 seconds and it achieved 12.5 miles per gallon on stove oil.</HTML>
