Comments about it's performance, the good and bad: a three cylinder (1 high pressure 2 low pressure) parellel, double acting, two stage compound with poppet valves for both inlet and exhaust. CYLINDER BLOCK is a one peice casting of spherical graphite cast-iron, machined to give cylinder dimensions of 72mm bore (HP) and 90mm (L.P.) with a common stroke of 74mm. This information is from his website and he has much more information on it describing it's use of modern materials. This looks to be a very well designed modern steam engine. Worthy of some consideration.
