<HTML>Hi Donald
There is a free combuction guide downloadable from:
[
www.eclipsenet.com].
It has flame tip temperature data charts etc. The flame tip temperature varies with the ampunt of excess air. Also the temperature of the inlet air can make a differance. For ever 2 degrees increase of inlet air temperature the flame temperature increasses by about 1 degree (ruffly). % O2 also makes a differance also.
Did a quick look found a chart for natural gas. Flame temperature with about 50% excess air is 3200F droping to 2250F with 100% excess air. The chart goes out to 1800% excess air and a flame tip temperature of 300F.
The theoritical flame temperatures are given for various substances in the guide. You might find the info you need there.
