<HTML>Ken,
Nobody seems to be answering you so I will.
Thermocouples for Stanleys are not an original item but useful just the same. They are available new and consist of a 2inch diameter voltmeter in a modern black plastic case with the dial calibrated in degrees in the range of 600-1000F with white, green and red bands showing the optimum running temperature of the pilot light. Also and most importantly they show when it has gone out. Attached to the gauge is a two wire lead connected to a long flexible 1/8th inch diameter probe which incorporates a type K thermocouple which is mounted in the flame of the pilot light.
The dial of the retro fit gauges has "Stanley" printed on it in the Satnley script style.
Don't know who sells them now but probably Art Hart does.
