family memories-White Steamer

<HTML>My mother often told me of her memory of her father buying a car fr Eddie Rickenbaker. Their farm was in Norway Center, Cass County, Iowa. She was born in 1904. I do not know the date but several elders in my family remember Eddie, along with mother's youngest uncle Russell Ostrus, driving that steamer up the long lane to the farm house. Edddie & Unc. Russell were friends. The car later had to be returned as some parts fell off. Rickenbacker later laid out the track for the Indianapolis 500 Speedway. You can go into Gooble Search & read about him. I am trying to place him in Iowa in early 1900's. Can you help? JG</HTML>
