I have just completed Kits 1 - 4, and I.m quite impressed with the quality of the parts and the machine work. I have been documenting and commenting as the build progresses. Great website very informative. If anybody wants to contribute any thouhgts or ideas a Modelworks discussion forum has been started by one of our Burrell 4" scale traction engine builders. The website for the forum is

The discussion forum also has links with other Modelworks model builders notably the 41/2" scale Foden truck we are starting this month (24 month build, 15 sold of run of 50) the Burrell (7 left) the Likamobile (2/3rds sold out) and the Locomotives we produce.
