<HTML>To all:
A German company, Spilling, has apparently succeeded in producing
an oil-free reciprocating steam engine. Their web site is:
[
www.spilling.de]
They offer it for sale and a number of installations (electrical co-generation)
are already operational. So, their engine is already in production and not merely in experimental stage, such as those proposed by Enginion and Ranotor.
These engines can operate with steam temperatures up to 450 C
(842 F) and pressure up to 60 bar (870 psi).
Their design is conventional : dual acting with piston valves.
Hoping that this will be of some help.
Best regards,
