I've been away for a while and I remember a poster mentioning that he was due to have a book on Doble published. Did that ever happen? Or is it still in the works?

Jim Crank writes: The Doble book is rapidly being finished up. Am writing captions for the photos now.
Should be done about a month from now, then it goes to Allen for printing.

I just receoved three copies of the 44 page book as advertised on EBAY. The pictures are good, some slightly out of focus and the material reprinted from earlier stuff. All in all worthwhile for the pictures, especially the ones of the chassis with the cutaway engine and boiler photos.
Give it a "B" rating. Jims book is going to be absolutely fantastic and of the highest quality.
